Isomalt Powder is a premium, 100 percent sugar-free sugar alcohol produced from beet sugar via enzymatic conversion and hydrogenation. It offers about 2 kcal per gram, roughly half the calories of sucrose, while delivering 45-65 percent of its sweetness. With its crystalline, non-hygroscopic structure and excellent heat stability, isomalt resists moisture, browning, and crystallization - making it ideal for candy, sugar art, and confections. Isomalt is also tooth-friendly and non-cariogenic, as oral bacteria cannot ferment it and it does not promote tooth decay.
