GALACTO OLIGOSACCHARIDES

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION:

Galactooligosaccharide has pure sweetness, low calorific value (7.1j / g), sweetness of 20% ~ 40% of sucrose, and strong moisturizing property. It has high thermal stability when pH is neutral. After heating at 100 ºC for 1H or 120 ºC for 30min, galactooligosaccharides do not decompose. Galactooligosaccharides and proteins will undergo Maillard reaction, which can be used in the processing of special foods such as bread and pastries.

FUNCTION:

Compared with fructooligosaccharide and Isomaltooligosaccharide, Galactooligosaccharide(GOS) is the only one that can be utilized by 8 beneficial bacteria in human intestine.
GOS has strong acid resistance and heat resistance, and will not lose its original characteristics due to high-temperature sterilization and decomposition of human gastric acid in the processing process, while FOS does not have these characteristics. GOS can be effectively utilized by Bifidobacterium B and Lactobacillus A at the same time. FOS and other oligosaccharides can only be used by Lactobacillus A, but not Bifidobacterium B.
GOS is an excellent nutrient source and effective proliferation factor for beneficial bacteria such as bifidobacteria and acidophilic lactobacillus in human intestine, which can improve the digestion and absorption function of human intestine.
